(Dadu News)– Jack Del Rio, former NFL coach and senior advisor to Wisconsin’s head coach Luke Fickell, has announced his resignation after being arrested early Friday for operating a vehicle under the influence OWI following a crash in Madison, Wisconsin.

Jack Del Rio 61, was arrested shortly after midnight on Friday when the vehicle he was driving collided with a street sign, damaged a fence before coming to a halt in a yard, as stated in a Madison Police report. Officers arrived at the location at twelve thirty-five in the morning, situated west of the campus and Camp Randall Stadium,
According to the incident report, witnesses led officers to the driver, who was observed walking away from the scene, No injuries were reported.
Coach Rio showed signs of impairment and admitted to being the driver of the vehicle. He was arrested for a first-time OWI and later released.
