Malibu’s mountain fire is still being fought by firefighters who are trying to extinguish the flames. Efforts are also being made to put out the fire using helicopters. An update regarding the Malibu fire has been shared on the official Malibu Public safety X account.”

UPDATE – Forward progress of brush fire at Malibu Cyn & PCH in Malibu held at 50 acres. No active brush fire currently. Shelter in place for Malibu Rd from Webb Way west to PCH. Southbound Malibu Cyn closed, northbound open. All lanes of PCH closed from Corral Cyn to Webb Way.
