Why did Zakir Naik call YouTube earnings haram?

Zakir Naik was asked by a YouTuber that earning from YouTube is forbidden, then Zakir Naik gave him such an answer that he was surprised. Why did Zakir Naik say that earning from YouTube is forbidden?

Zakir Naik came to Pakistan and in a stage program in Karachi, a YouTuber asked Zakir Naik whether YouTube earnings are halal or haram.

So Zakir Naik explained to him in great detail why YouTube earning is forbidden ,Zakir Naik told the same tuber that I have more than 4 million followers on YouTube but I have not monetized my YouTube channel.

Because Zakir Naik has said that earning from YouTube is haram, because he says that there are girls on YouTube, that is why earning from YouTube is haram .Zakir Naik said that if you close the ads of alcohol on YouTube but you cannot close the ads of girls, there will be ads of girls on your YouTube video, so earning of YouTube is forbidden.

And Zakir Naik also said that people on Facebook say to me that we will give you 5000 dollars, you run an ad on your YouTube or run an ad on Facebook, but I want to go to heaven, what should I do with 5,000 dollars, so I refused. I don’t want money because I can’t eat haram earnings,

Zakir Naik advised this YouTuber that you should upload Islamic content on YouTube and not some wrong video.

On the other hand, if you talk about Mufti Tariq Masood, he does not call YouTube earning as haram. He has given the reason that YouTube does not give us money for videos, YouTube gives us money for ads. Make sure to run the right ads on your YouTube,And Mufti Tariq Masood has also said that if any video in which there is a wrong ad, God willing, you should donate five or ten percent of your YouTube earnings.

So by this your forbidden YouTube earnings will be donated and Halal will save you and on the other hand Zakir Naik says YouTube earnings are Haram then most of the people do not know that YouTube earnings are Haram. Or is it halal, then give your opinion regarding YouTube, whether what Zakir Naik has said about YouTube is right or wrong.

YouTube provides us with a setting in Google AdSense in which we can close the wrong ad and play the right ad on our YouTube video, so Zakir Naik has said that you can be an ad for alcohol but you can be an ad for girls. Zakir Naik surprised this young YouTuber and encouraged him to upload correct Islamic videos on YouTube.

Many scholars disagree on this matter. Some scholars say that YouTube’s haram earnings are haram and some people say that no, YouTube earnings are halal, so there is a debate among many Maulana on this.

But every Maulana has presented his own analysis of YouTube earnings, why YouTube earnings are Halal and why they are Haram.
