The phone call, traced to a number under the name of Faizan, is reportedly from a person named Faizan, who is a resident of Raipur, a city in Rajasthan. The call was made on November 5 to the Bandra Police Station’s landline. Following the incident, a team from the Mumbai Police was sent to Raipur for further investigation into the call.
According to Indian media, the caller threatened that if ₹50 lakh’s were not paid, Shah Rukh Khan’s life would be in danger, and they would harm him. A case has been registered, but no arrests have been made so far. Shah Rukh Khan, unlike other Bollywood stars, was known for attending every show and event without security.
However, like Salman Khan, after receiving death threats, Shah Rukh Khan will now travel with extra security. The threat call was also made to Shah Rukh Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment’s office, where similar death threats were received.
